Known as The Korean Executioner, Michael Yim is a decorated Brazilian Jiu Jitsu competitor and respected educator. He’s earned multiple IBJJF gold medals across New York, New Jersey, Texas, and Connecticut, along with dominant showings at Grappling Industries and FUJI BJJ as a Brown/Black belt no-gi standout. Beyond competition, he’s the Head Kids Instructor at Immortals Jiu Jitsu, where he helps mold the next generation on and off the mats. When he’s not submitting opponents, he’s shaping young minds as a 4th grade teacher in Bergen County and was recently honored with the Governor’s Educator of the Year Award.
